Can You Sleep Well In This Squall?

Long ago a farmer owned a big land along the coast of Atlantic. The farmer didn’t get people to assist him, as most were reluctant to work in a storm prone area. Once, a short, thin, middle aged man approached the farmer for acting as a helping hand. “Are you a good farmhand?” the farmer asked him. “Well, I can sleep when the storm comes!” answered the man. Although puzzled by this answer, the farmer, desperate for help, hired him. The little man worked well around the farm, busy from dawn to dusk, and the farmer felt satisfied with the man's work. Then one night the wind howled loudly in from offshore. Jumping out of bed, the farmer shook the little man and yelled, “Get up! A gale is coming! Tie things down before they blow away!” The little man rolled over in bed and said firmly, “No sir. I told you, I can sleep when the wind blows.  ” Enraged by the response, the farmer was tempted to fire him on the spot.  Instead, he hurried outside to prepare for the storm. To his amazement,

First-year students at Texas A & M's Vet school were attending their first Anatomy class, with a real dead pig.  They all gathered around the surgery table with the body covered with a White sheet. The professor started the class by telling them, 'In Veterinary Medicine it is necessary to have two important qualities as a Doctor: The first is that you not be disgusted by anything involving the Animal body'. For an example, the Professor pulled back the sheet, touched his finger in the mouth of the dead pig, withdrew it and put his Finger in his mouth. 'Go ahead and do the same thing,' he told his students. The students freaked out, hesitated for several minutes. But eventually took turns putting their finger in the mouth of the dead pig and tasted in their mouth.
